The COVID-19 virus is causing mass unplanned bursts of remote work. One of the methods being implemented to reduce the rate of spread of the virus is social distancing (avoiding crowds and enclosed spaces). When the virus has been found in a community, isolation is being enforced. In both situations, employees are not able to work in an office environment. The impact that this has on our clients is already being felt. Many Sydney and Melbourne based firms are starting to work remotely. To remove any hurdles in becoming remote ready, we are allowing our existing and new customers to add any additional users for the next month at no cost.
We are also capping the deployment for new clients at $300 (normally $660 inc GST for a half day deployment). This means that if there is a shutdown in your place of business, employees can work from home with the same applications and data that they use in the office.
